Role Overview

The Project Implementation Assistant Manager in healthcare logistics manages the lifecycle of healthcare-related supply chain projects involving multiple sites and various products or services. This role demands active analysis of customer solutions, leading cross-functional teams and overseeing the project from initiation through deployment, ensuring alignment with both customer and company goals. Responsibilities extend to reviewing outcomes, conducting audits, and continuous improvement aligned with the Master Operating Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all phases of project lifecycle: scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, design, construction, and deployment.
  • Support business operations until the project stabilizes; facilitate document approvals, resource agreements, and cost confirmation with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including milestones and task assignments to guarantee timely, specification-compliant completion.
  • Maintain clear and regular project status reporting and updates.
  • Engage with relevant departments to negotiate process adjustments, responsibility assignments, and manage project effects.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to outline current operational processes and propose improvements.
  • Oversee budget monitoring and cost control efforts throughout project implementation.
  • Create and execute communication strategies to keep impacted parties appropriately informed.
  • Regularly monitor team productivity and timelines via formal and informal channels.
  • Serve as the primary communicator with clients during implementation phases.
  • Manage concurrent projects and deployments ensuring stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Assist in ongoing enhancement initiatives post-implementation.
  • Complete various ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or healthcare sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, work collaboratively within teams, and show high energy and drive.
  • Experienced in handling multiple complex projects simultaneously including prioritization, planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with building reporting dashboards is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Prior experience in program or project management is preferred.
