Work Schedule and Locations
Work shifts vary between days and nights, including weekends, with available windows such as 5am-10am and 6am-11am. The position involves potential extensive driving across a radius covering four to five states and may require occasional night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Disinfect, scrub, strip, and finish hard surface flooring
- Clean and polish specialty floors, including gym surfaces
- Perform carpet steam cleaning and shampooing
- Extract carpets using carpet extractors
- Wash windows and clean glass surfaces such as partitions and mirrors using appropriate cleaning agents and tools
- Pressure wash floors and building exteriors using pressure washers
- Undertake minor wall repairs
- Collect and dispose of trash
- Maintain and restock bathroom supplies, including cleaning services
- Dust furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment
- Notify management of significant repair or operational system needs
- Request necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Provide support to fellow crew members in the field when required
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning and maintaining buildings and warehouses
- Knowledge of proper floor care techniques for various flooring types such as vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, and hardwood
- Ability to travel extensively by driving to multiple work sites
- Willingness to work varied schedules including nights, days, and weekends
- Valid and current driver's license
- Ability to comprehend and follow safety regulations, operational instructions, maintenance manuals, and chemical safety documents, which are typically in English but may be provided in Spanish where required
