About the Role
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is hiring a skilled Project Coordinator to join the Air Combat Electronic Attack (ACEA) Support Contract Integration Team. This pivotal role supports the sustainment of the Royal Australian Air Force's F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft fleets by ensuring delivery of program services. The ACEA program focuses on in-service support, system upgrades, and sustainment of electronic attack and self-protection systems that enhance aircraft survivability in challenging contested airspace, ensuring operational readiness and coalition compatibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the program’s operational schedule and reporting functions to uphold contractual commitments and support effective project oversight.
- Coordinate risk, issues, and opportunities (RIO) management activities for the Integration Team.
- Collaborate with various business units to ensure program milestones and objectives are met efficiently.
- Assist the Integration Manager by preparing briefing materials and presentations for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support the coordination of engineering, maintenance, and logistics services via engagement with senior leaders and stakeholders to meet platform operational goals.
- Lead smaller projects independently, building project management expertise and domain knowledge.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator with familiarity in risk management and task management tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills demonstrated through collaborative achievements in program outcomes.
- A proactive learner eager for growth and new opportunities within the defense sector.
- Must be an Australian Citizen to comply with defense security clearance requirements.
Work Location and Environment
- Position based at RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland with options for hybrid work arrangements.
