About the Role
Gritter Francona is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to support a critical initiative focused on reducing Veteran suicide. This role is in response to a directive from the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs (SECVA) to the Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) to evaluate and enhance existing Veteran Health Administration (VHA) strategies and introduce novel approaches to decrease Veteran suicides. The program requires an enterprise-wide strategy to manage growing interactions, promote non-pharmacological pain management, connect Veterans with community faith-based resources, and improve care coordination between the VA and CITC providers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, initiation, execution, and closure of programs aimed at supporting an integrated healthcare system.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to reduce Veteran suicide rates.
- Coordinate efforts across various departments and external partners to ensure seamless care for Veterans.
- Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Monitor and report on program progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Possession of a PMP certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading healthcare projects or programs.
- At least 6 of those years must include experience supporting a government agency.
