Production Manager, Accessories

Position summary

Kith is hiring a Production Manager to oversee the production flow for assigned accessories and lifestyle product groups across women’s, men’s, and kids’ lines. The role is based at the Williamsburg headquarters in Brooklyn and is fully on site. You will be responsible for making sure product execution meets Kith’s quality and production standards while coordinating closely with internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Keep WIP tracking current for all styles and vendors assigned to you so production deadlines stay on track through the master system.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors to support margin targets.
• Prepare buy sheets.
• Share PPS arrivals with the design team and make sure feedback is received within the required timeline.
• Raise and maintain purchase orders in the ERP platform while protecting data accuracy.
• Build cost sheets in the ERP system after final confirmation.
• Check QC inspection documentation with factories and prepare QC reports and TOP materials for production manager review and approval.
• Review, submit, and record invoices.
• Evaluate and approve care label and bulk submissions, then archive bulk submissions for future use.
• Request, organize, and assess testing reports, and flag any concerns.
• Partner with the production counterpart to place bulk trim orders when needed and consolidate orders across factories on a seasonal or annual basis.
• Coordinate with the SMU team to ensure contract approvals and requirements are completed as requested.
• Own the full production cycle for designated vendors.
• Track purchase orders, production milestones, critical path dates, ex-factory timing, and key deliverables to prevent delays.
• Escalate risks and production issues early to the relevant cross-functional partners.
• Manage bulk fabric and trim submissions by comparing them with approved SMS fabrics and lab dips for color and hand-feel, then sending feedback and approvals.
• Work day-to-day with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Materials, third-party QC, and Logistics to keep execution aligned and resolve issues.
• Communicate vendor approvals, changes, and feedback clearly.
• Take part in fittings, pre-production meetings, and seasonal review sessions.
• Study past production problems and apply process improvements.
• Review and approve TOP samples.
• Help bring new vendors onboard when needed.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of fabrics, trims, testing, logistics, and costing is required.
• Experience with accessories and lifestyle products is an advantage.
• You should be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
• Familiarity with ERP and PLM tools, along with strong data entry and data maintenance skills, is needed.

Additional information

This is a full-time, 100% on-site position at HQ in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York. The annual compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000.
