Job description
Role overview
Evereden is hiring a Production Coordinator to manage the end-to-end production process, from planning and sourcing through quality control and inventory oversight. This position supports the company’s global growth objectives by improving supply chain efficiency and margin performance while partnering closely with Product Development, Marketing, Growth, and International Operations. The role reports to the Senior Director of Production and is based in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
What you’ll handle
- Create, maintain, and share a detailed manufacturing schedule built from projected global demand so finished goods are produced on time and within cost targets.
- Refresh the production tracker every week with batching dates, filling dates, and other key milestones.
- Run weekly production discussions with internal global stakeholders and external contract manufacturers, while setting priorities for production runs based on demand.
- Monitor incoming raw materials and packaging components, and coordinate with the Logistics Manager to make sure production inputs arrive on schedule.
- Provide same-day production status updates to the global Operations team for urgent purchase orders and flag delays to the right stakeholders quickly.
- Manage the relationship with external contract manufacturers so launch and reorder timelines stay on track, including changes to purchase orders, bills of materials, and fill/assembly instructions.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and help reduce timeline risks while identifying opportunities for better execution.
- Set up and enforce QA/QC standards at contract manufacturers, monitor performance against those standards, and escalate quality issues to CM quality teams for corrective action.
- Procure raw materials as required and place orders when inventory or production needs call for them.
- Own new product development schedules at contract manufacturers, including technology transfer for new formulas and milestone tracking through launch.
- Ensure finished goods are delivered on time, in full, and within cost expectations.
- Maintain accurate data across internal systems.
Requirements
- You must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- You should understand manufacturing and supply chain fundamentals, including inventory control, forecasting, and lean principles.
- Experience with factory production and product supply environments is important.
- You need strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to influence others and drive outcomes.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking ability is needed, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data review and identifying inconsistencies or anomalies.
- You should be able to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and stay organized in a fast-moving environment.
- The role requires working in line with established procedures and protocols.
- You should be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities when needed.
