Role Overview

In response to the company's operational requirements and expansion plans, the production function is undergoing restructuring to boost productivity and meet operational objectives. The Production Coordinator position is vital in closing operational gaps and facilitating smooth production processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily production operations across various cable manufacturing stages including wire drawing, stranding, insulation, armouring, sheathing, and packaging.
• Ensure that daily production tasks align with authorized schedules and client delivery deadlines.
• Monitor production outputs vigilantly, raising alerts regarding delays, equipment downtime, or shortages in materials.
• Evaluate production efficiency using key performance indicators such as output volume, waste levels, downtime, operational efficiency, and product quality.
• Guarantee that all production activities adhere strictly to the company's quality benchmarks and product specifications.

Candidate Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in managing production schedules and monitoring floor-level activities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cable manufacturing processes and overall production operations.
• Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
• Academic credentials should include a Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required.
