About the Role

Avani Consulting invites applications for the position of Production Associate at a respected pharmaceutical company located in Mysuru. This opportunity targets professionals with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and qualifications in Chemical Engineering or related disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out production batches according to predetermined schedules and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
  • Adhere strictly to cGMP standards, along with health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • Keep thorough and accurate documentation of production processes including daily logbooks.
  • Review batch records prior to submission for Quality Assurance approval.
  • Investigate and manage deviations, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and Out of Specification (OOS) instances.
  • Oversee manufacturing activities ensuring conformity with established processes.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration efforts.
  • Ensure correct labeling, storage, and inventory reconciliation of materials and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation within the production environment.
  • Support Quality Assurance in handling audits, validations, and investigations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering, M.Sc. in Chemistry, or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in API production or pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven expertise in API manufacturing and production operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cGMP/GMP compliance and batch documentation.
  • Experience with batch execution, deviation handling, CAPA, and OOS investigations.
  • Familiarity with SOP adherence and process operations.
  • Competence in production planning, shop floor management, and QA coordination.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.

  • Compensation: 5 to 7 LPA CTC.
