Job description

Company Overview

Something Works IN is a business consulting firm that helps organizations become stronger, more recognizable, and more trusted brands. Its work centers on Brand Enrichment and Operational Excellence (BE|OpEx), with a focus on improving both external brand presence and internal efficiency.

The company works across TWI, Kaizen, Six Sigma, offline and online marketing, and business outreach. Team members partner with a variety of clients and use structured methods to create lasting improvement and measurable outcomes.

Role Overview

This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Product Owner. The person in this role will shape product direction by setting priorities, defining feature needs, and keeping the product backlog organized and up to date. The position requires close alignment between product goals and business objectives.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will work with stakeholders to collect, clarify, and refine requirements, while coordinating closely with software development teams to support on-time delivery. You will also use business analysis to test assumptions and validate proposed solutions.

Day to day, you will review data and user feedback to guide product decisions, share updates and risks with relevant stakeholders, and contribute to ongoing improvements across product processes and the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring strong analytical ability to interpret information, assess product performance, and support decision-making. A solid foundation in product management is needed to build roadmaps, manage backlogs, and guide products from idea through release.

The role also calls for business analysis capability to capture requirements, document workflows, and convert business needs into practical specifications. Clear communication skills are important for working with stakeholders, running discussions, and explaining complex ideas in a simple way.

Familiarity with software development processes is essential for collaborating effectively with engineering teams and contributing to agile delivery. Experience in consulting or professional services, knowledge of Scrum or Kanban, and exposure to Kaizen or Six Sigma will be considered useful.

A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in a Product Owner or similar product-focused role.
