About the Role
Join the rapidly expanding Digital Commerce & Service Experiences division as a Product Owner Manager. You will be in charge of leading a digital product pod, ensuring consistent rollout of product updates and fixes aligned with priorities and standards. Your leadership will ensure all pod members clearly understand their contributions and meet deadlines effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead one or multiple cross-functional digital product pods including engineers, UX/UI designers, QA professionals, and other specialists focused on delivering quality and new digital product features.
- Define sprint scopes for the product pods based on backlog priorities and available capacity.
- Coordinate sprint feature releases, including sign-off procedures and initial performance monitoring to ensure post-release expectations are met.
- Facilitate sessions to set UX, UI, and back-end deliverables per sprint, and ensure compliance through UX reviews and demos to digital teams and management.
- Identify risks, issues, and technical challenges via regular reports and collaborate with units such as Finance, IT, and Commercial to eliminate blockers or secure temporary expert support.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the digital product roadmap, prioritize new features and user stories based on expected impacts and objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in product lifecycle management.
- Proficient in estimating work size and complexity.
- Strong functional knowledge of web and mobile platforms.
- Proven experience managing digital product delivery, preferably in the travel sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital product development including customer experience, UI/UX design, engineering, and analytics.
- Awareness of airline sales, marketing, and distribution processes.
- In-depth knowledge of core airline systems and software.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
