Product Overview

You will take ownership of the company's core digital platform designed for professional security systems. This platform replaces their previous solution and serves as the strategic foundation for future digital services. The platform caters to a B2B2C model where professional security installers and service organizations manage their customers and installations, while end customers access various digital services through the platform.

• Management of companies, users, permissions, customers, sites, and security systems
• Provision of remote services enabling installers and technicians secure remote access for configuration, diagnosis, maintenance, and support
• Delivery of digital services including notifications, mobile and web applications, and additional services built on the platform

This platform operates at the junction of security technology, SaaS, and professional service operations and is characterized by dynamic and evolving features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and clearly communicate the product vision and strategy aligning with measurable objectives
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog and maintain the product roadmap effectively
• Balance discovery and delivery by making assumptions explicit, validating them, and focusing on delivering validated outcomes
• Maintain consistent engagement with installers, technicians, and internal stakeholders to gain in-depth market and user insights
• Evaluate business value, technical feasibility, and user desirability to shape effective solutions
• Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate product value growth
• Serve as the primary contact for the product, collaborating closely with engineering, UX, and cross-functional teams
• Support the evolution and maturity of modern product management practices within the organization

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 2 to 4 years experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a software product environment
• Strong product ownership mindset with outcome orientation and ability to handle ambiguity; confident decision-making and clear communication
• Good grasp of software development fundamentals sufficient to engage in technical trade-offs (coding not required)
• Experience employing modern prioritization and product discovery methodologies
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and alignment
• Fluency in German (primary working language) and proficiency in English
• Residency in Germany or Austria is required

Note: Prior experience in security technology, hardware, or particular industries is not necessary as domain knowledge will be provided. The emphasis is on the candidate's product-thinking capabilities.

• Annual salary range from €70,000 to €90,000, adjusted based on experience
