Role overview
This position sits within the regional marketing team and offers practical exposure to product marketing in a well-known hospitality business. The intern will work alongside the Product Marketing Senior Executive and the Product Marketing Manager, helping drive day-to-day marketing work for Club Med resorts across Southeast Asia and the Pacific (ESAP).
The role contributes to stronger brand positioning, better customer engagement, and consistent marketing communication across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in rolling out region-led campaigns and support the creation of communication kits and marketing assets that local teams can adapt and use.
- Help ensure that products are represented accurately across all customer touchpoints, with clear and effective messaging.
- Support the Senior Executive in preparing marketing and communication kits using information received from the relevant internal teams.
- Contribute to the development of sales and marketing materials that support commercial goals and brand communication needs.
- Help produce reports, presentations, and organized libraries of creatives, assets, and marketing materials for internal use.
- Maintain complete communication kits for each resort, including creative direction, visuals, videos, and product presentation materials, so messaging stays accurate and compelling.
- Work closely with the Senior Executive to keep all marketing touchpoints up to date as new changes come in on a daily basis.
- Format marketing assets so they remain aligned with brand standards for both internal and external use.
- Support coordination with agencies, photo shoots, and video shoots used to promote the resorts.
- Research competitors, review market trends, and analyse patterns to better understand the industry landscape.
- Compare Club Med’s offerings and performance with those of competitors and highlight best practices or improvement opportunities.
- Study travel and tourism trends in the ESAP region, including sustainable tourism, experiential travel, and wellness retreats.
- Help verify resort information, identify missing details, and improve copy where needed.
- Assist with copywriting suggestions and propose visual ideas for marketing materials.
- Track updates across the website and QR landing pages, and make sure outdated content is removed on time.
- Support the Senior Executive to keep all deliverables on schedule and completed efficiently.
Profile
- Diploma or degree holder, ideally with a background in marketing or communications.
- Good understanding of marketing concepts.
- Strong interest in marketing and the hospitality sector.
- Well-organized, detail-focused, and proactive.
- Strong written and verbal communication ability.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a large, diverse organization.
- Capable of managing projects and executing tasks effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with persistence, openness, teamwork, and a strong results focus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
