Product Manager - Self Managed Service

About the Role

This opportunity is for a Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and development of a self-managed enterprise platform utilized by organizations around the globe. The role focuses on owning the product vision, roadmap, and implementation related to how clients deploy, configure, and operate complex solutions in their own environments.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, customer success, and field teams to simplify enterprise deployments across cloud-native, on-premises, and highly regulated settings, enhancing customer adoption and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and execute the market-driven vision, strategy, and requirements for the self-managed product suite.
• Manage and prioritize the product roadmap balancing customer demands, business goals, technical possibilities, and market trends.
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize feedback from customers, partners, communities, and internal stakeholders to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Work in partnership with engineering to set priorities, define initiatives, and deliver valuable product features.
• Enhance customer experience by simplifying deployment processes and enabling consistent adoption across diverse enterprise environments.
• Monitor competitive landscape, market shifts, and customer needs, collaborating with sales, solutions, and other customer-facing teams.
• Support development of enterprise-grade deployment scenarios, including Kubernetes, container platforms, on-premises, and restricted or air-gapped environments.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience overseeing platform products that span SaaS and self-managed or on-premises solutions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise software development, deployment methodologies, and infrastructure concepts.
• Proven background working with clients in complex regulated sectors such as banking, financial services, insurance, or similar industries.
• Capability to convert customer insights and market data into clear product strategies and priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, marketing, customer success, and technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills suited for a global, distributed team environment.
• Willingness and capacity to thoroughly understand and utilize the product you manage.
• Experience with developer-focused, infrastructure, or enterprise platform products is advantageous.
