Role Overview
Our client, an established banking institution, is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to lead the creation, management, and continuous improvement of wealth management offerings within its private banking platform.
What You Will Do
- Own the full product lifecycle for wealth management solutions, from early concepting and development through launch and ongoing optimisation.
- Partner with investment, sales, compliance, legal, and operations stakeholders to design and implement investment products for private banking customers.
- Research the market and track competitors to surface new opportunities and emerging trends in wealth management.
- Contribute to the design of investment solutions spanning funds, structured products, discretionary mandates, and alternative investments.
- Draft product papers, investment briefs, and supporting documentation for internal approvals and governance reviews.
- Review product outcomes and client inflows/outflows, then propose improvements or consolidation of existing offerings where needed.
- Work with distribution teams to equip them with product knowledge, marketing collateral, and sales enablement support.
- Make sure product structures align with internal risk frameworks and applicable regulatory obligations across jurisdictions.
- Assist with new product rollouts by coordinating across operations, technology, and external partners.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 3 and 6 years of experience in product management, product development, or investment solutions, ideally in private banking, wealth management, or asset management.
- A strong grasp of wealth management instruments including mutual funds, discretionary portfolios, structured products, alternatives, and capital markets solutions.
- Professional credentials such as CFA, CAIA, or equivalent qualifications will be considered a plus.
