Role overview
This role is for a Product Manager focused on managed connectivity offerings. The position calls for shaping product strategy, deciding feature priorities, handling product costing, and working closely with customers and sales specialists to support go-to-market initiatives and generate new business.
What you will do
- Bring fresh thinking and practical product-management approaches to strengthen the go-to-market direction of the product portfolio.
- Own the strategy and execution for Managed CPE, Managed Security, Clean-Pipe, and Cloud service lines, including roadmap planning and launch activities.
- Work with sales and marketing to plan GTM activities, attract new customers, and develop pricing approaches that support revenue and budget goals.
- Track and manage financial outcomes for the portfolio, including revenue, profit margins, and growth performance, and adjust plans to stay on target.
- Collaborate with network sales specialists to improve results for the Enterprise Connectivity line and coordinate with Engineering and Information Services to keep connectivity operations running smoothly.
- Study competitors, market shifts, and technology trends to build clear insights that guide positioning, packaging, pricing, and broader business strategy.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver roadmap items, product enhancements, and performance improvements aligned to customer needs.
- Develop business cases for new products by evaluating market demand, technology direction, expected return on investment, and sales-channel potential to secure necessary capex and opex.
- Improve sales enablement processes and product workflows while keeping customer experience at the center.
- Coordinate service migration planning with Operations, Project Management, and Product Systems Platforms teams.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance the customer experience for product and service users.
What we are looking for
- A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the telecom or ICT / IT network sector, with exposure to pre-sales or post-sales work on medium to large complex infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications services such as IP networking, network security, and cloud connectivity.
- Experience in network and systems integration solution design will be an added advantage.
- CCNA certification is preferred, though not required.
- Ability to work on your own and engage effectively with customers, partners, and internal account teams.
- Good grasp of consulting frameworks and related methodologies.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, along with confident presentation ability.
