Job description
Overview
As the second designer in the UFM programme, you will support the Design Lead and work closely with various product pods to maintain and enhance both the design system and user experience across multiple business modules and the driver application. This role demands collaboration within a product-building environment where continuous prototyping with early adopter customers is standard, ensuring a unified and seamless user interface throughout the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand the UFM design system, ensuring consistency across all module user interfaces.
- Collaborate with pod builders to design efficient module workflows directly within the product, validated through early customer feedback.
- Take full ownership of crucial interface surfaces such as the driver app and operator worklists as the product suite expands.
- Incorporate design reviews into rapid development cycles by establishing design patterns and guidelines rather than enforcing detailed pixel-level adjustments.
Candidate Profile
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product design expertise, preferably with experience in B2B or SaaS environments; ability to think systemically.
- Proficient in designing directly in code and through prototypes, beyond only Figma.
- Ability to empathize with multiple user personas including drivers, fleet managers, suppliers, and back-office operators.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in another European language is advantageous.
