Role Overview

As a product designer at Meta, you will play a key role in shaping user experiences and visual designs that impact billions of users globally. You will be deeply involved throughout the product development cycle — from ideation, prototyping, to final execution — ensuring products are user-centric, visually compelling, and aligned with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform broad concepts into practical and valuable user experiences for over two billion users.
• Create seamless user flows and interfaces that simplify complex tasks into intuitive designs.
• Innovate and develop new experience layouts and visual systems that evolve product design standards.
• Contribute to strategic planning regarding the future direction of Meta’s products.
• Participate in and seek feedback to continuously enhance design quality.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to guide products from conception through launch.
• Effectively communicate design vision and rationale to product teams and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related area.
• Minimum of 4 years designing complex software products focused on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business goals.
• Experience leading advanced usability testing and incorporating diverse stakeholder feedback to guide product direction.
• Proven track record developing and executing design strategies and presenting work to senior executives.
• Strong skills in prototyping tools to create high-fidelity prototypes that clearly convey design ideas.

• Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration by linking your projects with wider company initiatives.
• Evidence of leadership beyond product design, such as mentoring and positively influencing team culture.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance workflows and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and quality.
• Commitment to ethical AI practices including risk evaluation, bias reduction, and quality assurance.
• Continuous learning and expertise development in AI technologies such as prompt engineering and agent orchestration.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $139000 to $199000 annually, not including bonuses, equity, or other benefits. Compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Meta also offers comprehensive benefits to its employees.
