About the role

Absorb Software is hiring a Product Designer to join its expanding design team. The role focuses on creating clear, accessible, and visually strong experiences for Absorb’s learning products. You will work with people across product, engineering, and design, take ownership of well-scoped work, and help improve the design system while continuing to develop your craft.

What you will do

  • Turn product requirements into user-focused designs for web and mobile experiences.
  • Create prototypes, test ideas, and refine flows to improve usability and interaction quality.
  • Carry out user research and organize findings to support design choices.
  • Help build, update, and maintain design system components so products stay consistent.
  • Evaluate several design directions and champion strong UX and UI practices.
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to deliver polished solutions.
  • Use current design tools and methods, including workflows that incorporate AI assistance.

What you should bring

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in product design or UX/UI design, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful problem solving and effective interaction design.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Figma, plus familiarity with design systems and responsive design.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility expectations such as WCAG and core usability principles.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A growth-oriented mindset and the ability to balance user needs with business objectives.
