Role overview
Scale’s Global Public Sector organization is scaling quickly and is applying AI to solve major public-sector challenges worldwide. The team’s work spans custom AI applications that can affect millions of citizens and government staff, creation of high-quality training data for specialized LLMs, and advisory and upskilling services that help organizations adopt AI effectively.
As the Product Delivery & Operations Lead based in Doha, you will act as the operational backbone for an important strategic region. Your focus will be to design, build, and run the systems that support rapid growth and successful delivery. This role sits at the intersection of product, people, and process, requiring someone who can think like a founder, structure systems like a designer, and execute with product-management discipline.
What you will be responsible for
- Serve as the main link between Engineering, Product, and Design, ensuring priorities are aligned and initiatives move forward clearly.
- Own internal knowledge management and tooling, with deep use of Notion to build and maintain the team’s central documentation, trackers, and decision records.
- Create and improve systems for project tracking, staffing, and performance reporting.
- Work with Finance and Legal to simplify procurement, budgeting, and contract workflows, while also supporting revenue recognition tracking and project spend monitoring.
- Develop and roll out new operating processes that increase speed, quality, and predictability in product development and data delivery.
- Act as an enabler for technical leadership by anticipating needs, preparing materials, and helping communicate priorities both internally and externally.
- Drive internal learning and upskilling efforts that strengthen the team’s product-building capabilities.
What the role calls for
- At least 5 years of experience in product, strategy, or business operations, ideally in a fast-growing technology company or a leading consulting or finance environment.
- Demonstrated success in creating and scaling systems that help technical teams work with clarity and speed.
- Strong analytical ability, comfort with detailed data review, first-principles thinking, and quick iteration to improve outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with Notion and related productivity tools such as Asana, Airtable, Coda, and Slack integrations.
- Prior exposure to the Middle East, along with familiarity with the regional business and regulatory context, is an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills are required; Arabic language ability is a significant plus.
