Supported by renowned investors such as Index Ventures, Arondite prides itself on a team of exceptional engineers driven by high-impact and technically challenging work, fostering a culture without corporate hierarchy and offering individuals significant ownership from day one.
Role Overview
As the Delivery Lead, you will take full responsibility for ensuring that high-quality and secure product releases are delivered on schedule to the deployment team. Your role involves managing the entire release cycle, coordinating planning and readiness reviews, resolving obstacles, and ensuring alignment across the development team. You will collaborate with product teams to integrate testing, compliance, and performance evaluations into the release pipeline and communicate relevant metrics to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete release process to guarantee timely, scoped, and high-grade product launches.
- Maintain and disseminate release schedules to engineering, product teams, and deployment stakeholders.
- Conduct release planning and readiness assessments, ensuring clear acceptance parameters and completion criteria.
- Monitor progress relative to roadmaps, proactively identifying and mitigating risks or blockers.
- Implement testing, security, and performance benchmarks as prerequisites for releases.
- Provide transparency through metrics such as release frequency, feature lead times, and bug counts.
- Enhance process reliability and repeatability by minimizing manual tasks, boosting automation, and shortening delivery cycles.
Candidate Requirements
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and understand not all will meet every criterion. Relevant qualifications include:
- A technical foundation, preferably experience as a software engineer.
- Minimum of 5 years in release management, technical program management, or similar roles delivering enterprise-grade products.
- Proven ability to coordinate with large engineering teams on roadmap execution, release scheduling, dependency alignment, and cross-team collaboration.
- Active programming or scripting skills and familiarity with DevSecOps principles to promote automation without sacrificing quality or security.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between engineering, product, customer-facing units, and leadership.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards like SOC 2, ISO 9001, or ISO 27001.
Bonus qualifications include experience in regulated or security-sensitive sectors such as fintech, defence, or healthcare, and understanding government-specific compliance like Secure by Design.
Work Authorization & Security Clearance
Applicants must possess the legal right to work in the UK at application time. The position requires either holding a UK Security Check clearance or willingness to undergo security vetting, usually necessitating continuous UK residency for five years.
