Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is posted for a partner organization that handles the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. The employer is seeking a Product Analyst located in Canada.

The role is central to product decision-making, converting customer behavior and platform data into practical insights that shape product strategy and roadmap priorities.

You will examine how users engage with a complex SaaS product, surfacing adoption trends, points of friction, and retention indicators that help steer product improvements.

Partnering with Product leadership and other teams, you will help ensure decisions are based on evidence rather than assumptions.

The environment is fast-paced and data-intensive, with significant interaction with senior stakeholders and participation in product strategy discussions.

You will contribute to building stronger product intelligence across the organization, improving clarity around what creates user value.

This role suits someone who enjoys pairing detailed analytical work with meaningful influence on product direction and business results.

It is a highly collaborative setting where insights are expected to lead to real product changes.

Key accountabilities

  • Take ownership of behavioral analysis across the product, including user journeys, engagement trends, session depth, and usage frequency across customer segments.
  • Track feature usage, adoption performance, and experiment outcomes to understand what increases or reduces product value.
  • Perform cohort, funnel, retention, and expansion analysis to reveal behavioral patterns and forecast customer lifecycle outcomes.
  • Pinpoint friction areas, drop-offs, and weaker-performing parts of the product, then turn those findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain core product KPIs while keeping reporting consistent, accurate, and dependable.
  • Deliver ongoing analytical support to Product leadership, helping inform roadmap choices and identify early product health risks.

Requirements

  • Between 3 and 6+ years of experience in product analytics, SaaS analytics, or similarly data-driven product settings.
  • Strong command of SQL, data modeling, and analytics tools, with practical experience handling large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with cohort analysis, funnel analysis, retention modeling, and interpretation of behavioral data.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex data into concise, executive-ready insights that shape product decisions.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and cross-functional partners in high-growth environments.
  • Strong quantitative judgment, structured problem-solving, and comfort working with incomplete or changing data.
  • Able to thrive in fast-moving, product-led organizations where insights directly influence execution.

Benefits

  • Pay package that reflects experience and current market standards.
  • Fully remote setup with opportunities to collaborate across geographies.
  • Flexible working arrangements that support work-life balance.
  • Close collaboration with senior product leadership and input into roadmap decisions.
  • Exposure to large-scale SaaS product analytics and strategic decision-making.
  • Dynamic, fast-growing workplace centered on data-led innovation.

Application and privacy information

This role is managed through a partner company, and the partner handles applications as well as the next stages of the hiring process. Shortlisted candidates are shared with the hiring company, while interviews, assessments, and final decisions are managed internally by that employer.

By submitting an application, you consent to the processing of your personal data for candidate evaluation and sharing with the hiring employer under applicable data protection rules, including GDPR where relevant. You may exercise rights such as access, correction, deletion, or objection at any time.
