Role overview

This opportunity is being handled for a partner employer, which will manage applications and the next stages of hiring. The position is for a Product Analyst focused on the Muslima product and is open to candidates based in Canada.

You will work on data-driven product decisions for large-scale social discovery platforms used by millions of people around the world. The role combines product analysis, experimentation, and growth-focused thinking. Your work will involve turning raw data into practical insights, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and business results, and helping shape testable product ideas. You will also contribute to A/B testing, product experimentation, and revenue or growth forecasting within a remote-first, internationally distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Review important product metrics on an ongoing basis to spot unusual patterns, performance shifts, and early warning signs.
  • Plan, test, and interpret A/B experiments with strong statistical discipline and dependable result analysis.
  • Help generate, rank, and confirm product hypotheses using evidence drawn from data.
  • Work through large datasets to surface growth potential and uncover meaningful links between product indicators.
  • Track and assess unit economics such as LTV, CAC, and ARPU for different user cohorts.
  • Create forecasting and impact models that estimate the revenue and business effect of new features or initiatives.
  • Partner with product and growth teams to support experimentation and decision-making.

Requirements

  • A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another technical discipline with a similar focus.
  • Strong grounding in probability and statistical methods applied to practical analysis.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Excel for analysis and reporting.
  • Previous experience designing and evaluating A/B tests in product or growth settings.
  • Good understanding of marketing and product metrics, supported by hands-on use.
  • A self-directed analytical approach with the ability to spot opportunities without close supervision.
  • Capability to pull insights from complex datasets and convert them into clear recommendations for the business.
