Produce Stocker (Overnight)

Role Overview

Primary Duties

• Organize and maintain the produce department zones efficiently.
• Rotate inventory and inspect products for expiry to ensure freshness.
• Confirm that all items are correctly priced and clearly labeled.
• Follow strict protocols related to cold chain management, including thermometer calibration, temperature checks, food handling, product rotation according to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Apply appropriate food safety measures and sanitation procedures.
• Execute processes for ordering stock, managing clearance items, marking price changes, and labeling products accurately.
• Ensure the department maintains sufficient inventory and is prepared to serve customers at all times.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations within the workspace.
• Stock new merchandise, manage downstocks when necessary, protect products, and organize shelving units including flexible modulars and setting shelf capacity.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.20.
