Overview

This part-time remote position entails managing procurement operations for UAE Football Network by overseeing purchasing activities critical to the organization's functioning. Daily responsibilities include preparing and processing purchase orders, engaging with vendors, and keeping precise records of all goods and services acquired. The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in assessing supplier performance, facilitating contract negotiations, and ensuring purchases align with the established budget and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle purchase order preparation and processing to support organizational needs.
• Coordinate effectively with suppliers to maintain timely communication and service reliability.
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
• Assist in contract negotiations to obtain advantageous terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements, analyze purchasing options, and propose cost-efficient solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Procurement and Purchase Order management to streamline sourcing and buying processes.
• Competence in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation to assess vendor capabilities and secure favorable contracts.
• Strong Analytical skills for bid comparison, cost monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.
• Familiarity with financial and budgeting principles, alongside practical use of spreadsheets or procurement software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working autonomously in a remote environment.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations is essential; exposure to sports or event management sectors is beneficial.
• Educational background including a diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
