Role overview
This is a 6-month contract role based in Dublin 2 and performed entirely onsite. The opportunity sits within a busy procurement function for a major global technology company, where you will contribute to sourcing activity, supplier coordination, and day-to-day procurement operations at scale.
The position is well suited to someone with procurement experience who works confidently in a high-volume environment and can support multiple stakeholders while keeping processes running smoothly and compliantly.
What you'll do
- Work alongside Procurement Category Managers on sourcing and procurement tasks across assigned categories.
- Set up, run, and administer RFQ processes through supplier selection and award.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to keep procurement workflows moving on time.
- Support supplier onboarding, supplier communication, and other supplier-related activities.
- Handle PO and invoice queries, including issues that require escalation or follow-up.
- Provide support before and after contracts are issued, while following internal procurement policies and controls.
What we're looking for
- Background in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
- Practical knowledge of RFQ and RFP workflows, plus supplier engagement.
- Experience dealing with purchase orders, invoices, and procurement transactions.
- Strong organisational ability and comfort juggling several priorities in a fast-moving setting.
- Clear communication skills and a good approach to stakeholder management.
- Hands-on use of procurement platforms and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
What you can expect
- The chance to support a well-known global technology organisation.
- Exposure to large-scale sourcing and procurement operations.
- A collaborative, energetic team environment.
- A contract opportunity with the potential to make an immediate contribution.
