Role overview
This position is for a meticulous and forward-thinking Inventory & Supply Chain Coordinator to help maintain stock availability and accurate inventory records across the business. You will work closely with warehouse staff and suppliers, playing an important part in handling deliveries, investigating variances, and strengthening stock control processes.
Location and compensation
The role is based in Baldoyle, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. The offered salary is €35,000 to €40,000, depending on experience.
Key responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will focus on delivery tracking, stock integrity, supplier coordination, and inventory reporting.
- Track supplier shipments, chase delayed deliveries, and ensure delivery information remains current.
- Look into shortages and product damage, submit supplier claims, and coordinate credits or replacements.
- Arrange supplier returns, including approvals, collections, and shipment tracking.
- Complete Goods In checks to confirm quantities, booking details, and stock locations are correct.
- Review stock differences and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Handle replenishment activities and prioritise stock transfers to protect product availability.
- Match intercompany stock movements and investigate any mismatches.
- Prepare reports covering supplier service levels, inventory accuracy, and delivery performance.
Candidate profile
The employer is seeking someone with prior exposure to inventory control, supply chain operations, or a comparable function. You should be confident using data, comfortable dealing with suppliers, and able to work through issues until they are fully resolved. This is a fast-moving environment, so ownership and problem-solving are important.
Success measures
- Keeping inventory accuracy at a 99% target.
- Resolving supplier discrepancies within the agreed timeframes.
- Processing supplier returns promptly.
- Improving visibility of supplier delivery performance, including OTIF.
