Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee the complete procurement process for EPC and related services within our US renewable energy portfolio. This role involves leading sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract administration to meet quality, cost, schedule, and risk objectives aligned with project and corporate strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for EPC and essential services such as geotechnical, civil, electrical, logistics, operations & maintenance, and owner's engineering.
• Gather and analyze supplier market intelligence regarding capacity, pricing trends, lead times, risks, and new advancements within the US renewable energy sector.
• Formulate sourcing plans that correspond to different project phases including development, pre-FID, and execution, while aligning with cost and schedule targets.
• Build long-term partnerships with key suppliers and define strategic plans accordingly.
• Provide cost baselines and budget projections in collaboration with engineering teams throughout various project stages.
• Manage RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes by defining scopes, bills of quantities, technical documents, commercial terms, evaluation standards, and clarifying bids.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary bid assessments involving Engineering, Development, Finance, Legal, HSE, and Quality departments.
• Drive competitive bidding, detailed bid comparison, and recommend award decisions based on total cost of ownership.
• Draft and negotiate EPC and service agreements, including bespoke and standard contracts with knowledge of FIDIC or comparable standards.
• Ensure risk-balanced contract conditions covering performance guarantees, liquidated damages, warranties, schedule obligations, change orders, payment terms, and bond/insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal to guarantee contract legality and compliance with local laws.
• Support execution by facilitating contract handover to project and construction teams.
• Establish and monitor supplier performance metrics on HSE, quality, schedule adherence, cost effectiveness, and claims management.
• Lead resolution of issues such as variations, claims, and delays while fostering continuous improvement with strategic suppliers.
• Track changes in market factors like materials, equipment, and labor to update cost benchmarks.
• Maintain procurement governance, audit readiness, and align with internal delegation of authority.
• Adhere strictly to ethical sourcing, anti-bribery/AML policies, ESG, and HSE standards.
• Document and maintain thorough records including tenders, evaluation reports, commercial memos, contract versions, and supplier scorecards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related discipline; Master’s and Engineering degrees preferred.
• 6 to 10 years' experience in procurement within renewable energy or infrastructure services, specifically in EPC, O&M, or BOPs sectors.
• Experienced in vendor negotiations, innovation partnerships, and contract management.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex commercial contracts and master service agreements.
• Familiarity with US regulatory frameworks including safe harbor provisions, tariffs, FEOC/material assistance, UFLPA, and tax equity financing.
• Ability to coordinate across global time zones and willingness to travel to supplier and project sites as required.
• In-depth understanding of technical, operational, market, and financial factors for utility-scale and standalone energy storage projects.
• Highly self-driven, detail-conscious, and capable of independent work across time zones.
• Strong analytical skills, sound commercial judgment, and adaptability to evolving market conditions.
• Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills at executive levels.
