Role overview
A global, market-leading manufacturing business is looking for a Procurement Excellence Manager to shape and run its procurement operating model on a worldwide basis. This role will be responsible for the processes, tools, governance, and reporting that support procurement performance across the organization.
Compensation and location
- Base pay is €90,000 to €110,000 per year, with no bonus component.
- This is a remote position available within Germany and the Netherlands.
What you will do
- Build and sustain a global procurement framework that supports consistency, compliance, and scale.
- Create and align procurement policies, workflows, and governance practices.
- Design governance and reporting packs that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Take ownership of the procurement KPI model, including metric definitions and measurement approach.
- Develop automated dashboards and reporting solutions to improve visibility into performance and insights.
- Work closely with Finance and IT to keep spend and savings data aligned in one trusted source.
- Drive procurement digital transformation efforts, including system rollout, better data quality, and automation.
- Lead improvement initiatives that cut down manual work and shorten cycle times.
- Train and coach procurement teams to strengthen capability across the function.
- Coordinate with Category, Regional, Operational Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Sustainability, Finance, and IT stakeholders.
Experience and requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in procurement excellence, transformation, governance, or process leadership.
- Demonstrated success in performance management, analytics, and standardising processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and BI/reporting tools.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
