Procurement Coordinator

About the Position

Goodwind Technologies Private Limited, based in Coimbatore, is seeking an organized and proactive Procurement Coordinator to oversee the procurement process and ensure continuous material availability for both production and operational needs.

Primary Duties

• Engage with suppliers to source and procure materials effectively.
• Collect and analyze price quotations to facilitate timely purchase order processing.
• Conduct regular visits to company offices and branches to assess and coordinate inventory levels.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Stores, and other departments to guarantee stock availability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships by visiting supplier sites.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, ensuring punctual receipt of materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers to reduce damage risks during material transportation.
• Maintain comprehensive procurement records, vendor details, and related documentation.
• Prepare and present procurement reports and status updates to management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable discipline.
• Between one and two years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with preference for candidates having manufacturing sector exposure.
• Competency with MS Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective communication, strong negotiating capabilities, and adept coordination skills.
• Willingness and ability to undertake travel to supplier and office locations as necessary.

Compensation and Work Details

The role offers a monthly salary ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000. The position follows a hybrid work model based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
