Job description

About the role

This is a hands-on packaging position within Sunnyfield’s pharmaceutical packaging facility in Allambie Heights. The role is suited to someone who wants consistent weekday hours, a supportive team environment, and work that contributes to a meaningful purpose.

The site focuses on inclusion, quality, and a positive workplace culture. You’ll be part of a growing team where the work is not just about production output, but also about belonging and making a difference.

Working hours are regular: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Key duties

  • Work to production targets and schedules set for the line or task.
  • Review and understand all production paperwork shared by the Team Leader before starting work.
  • Keep clean-room production lines operating smoothly so materials move efficiently from storage through to dispatch, while avoiding unnecessary delays, blockages, and waste.
  • Identify any product or material that does not meet compliance standards and handle it according to the required procedure.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should bring previous packaging experience in a busy, fast-moving environment. Strong accuracy, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and good time management are important for success in this role.

You must also be able to work safely and help maintain a safe environment for both yourself and others. Experience supporting people with disability is considered an advantage, and a genuine understanding of working with people with disability is essential.

Why Sunnyfield

Sunnyfield has been empowering people with disability for 74 years to live, learn, work, and belong. The organisation offers more than just a production job; it provides a workplace built around people, safety, quality, and a supportive culture.

Must-have conditions

  • Covid-19 vaccination is required.
  • You must be able to pass the relevant checks, including the NDIS Worker Screening and the National Criminal History Record Check.
  • Two references must be provided.

Additional information

This position sits within Sunnyfield’s Pharmaceutical Packaging site and is intended for someone who wants to contribute to a purpose-driven production team.
