About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing site located in County Kerry. This permanent full-time position involves ensuring equipment reliability, assisting production processes, and upholding strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality systems, and health and safety regulations within a tightly controlled pharmaceutical setting. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining readiness for inspections.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical assistance for equipment failures and lead thorough root cause analyses.
  • Maintain full adherence to GMP standards across all maintenance and engineering functions.
  • Contribute to the creation, review, and management of SOPs and maintenance protocols.
  • Engage in handling deviations, conducting change controls, and performing technical investigations.
  • Support the selection, installation, and qualification processes of new pharmaceutical equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with QA and QC teams on investigations and initiatives to enhance quality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a qualification in a relevant technical field.
  • Have at least 2 to 3 years experience as a process or maintenance technician within GMP-regulated or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of GMP, validation processes, quality systems, and regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and reliability engineering principles.
  • Proven capability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
