Role Overview
Blackfield Associates is seeking a Process Engineer to enhance manufacturing operations in the pharmaceutical sector. The role focuses on driving process improvements, providing technical assistance, and supporting cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in manufacturing activities and lead efforts to improve process efficiency.
- Conduct technical investigations and perform root cause analyses on operational issues.
- Champion continuous improvement projects to optimize production outcomes.
- Support the introduction of new products, facilitate process development, and manage technology transfer initiatives.
- Participate in process validation, corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), handling deviations, and quality-related investigations.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and maintain all related quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve challenges and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments is essential.
- Familiarity with aseptic processing or oral solid dose manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with effective communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of GMP regulations and continuous improvement methodologies.
