Job description
Company overview
KKR is a global investment firm focused on alternative asset management, capital markets, and insurance solutions. Its approach is built around patient, disciplined investing, backed by experienced professionals and a commitment to helping portfolio companies and communities grow. The firm sponsors funds across private equity, credit, and real assets, and also works with strategic partners that manage hedge funds. Its insurance businesses provide retirement, life, and reinsurance products through Global Atlantic Financial Group. Any mention of KKR investments may also include the work of its sponsored funds and insurance subsidiaries.
About private equity at KKR
Private equity is the foundation of KKR’s nearly five-decade history and represents over $200 billion in assets under management. Drawing on experience from hundreds of transactions, the team looks for strong businesses and supports them as they move to the next stage of growth, with a focus on delivering value for investors, employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
Position summary
The Frankfurt-based Private Equity Intern will take part in the full investment cycle, from identifying and assessing opportunities to due diligence and helping implement value-creation initiatives at portfolio companies. The role also involves working with colleagues across KKR and interacting with external market participants such as bankers and advisers.
