Private Equity Analyst

Role Overview

This contract position focuses on supporting private equity research activities for investment-grade analysis. The work is remote and centered on deal evaluation, market analysis, and the creation of polished outputs that help inform investment decisions.

Compensation & Commitment

The assignment pays $130 per hour and is expected to require at least 10 hours each week. It is a remote contract engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve financial models that assist with investment decisions.
• Prepare concise investment memos and well-organized analytical summaries.
• Estimate market size and assess total addressable market opportunities.
• Review deal documentation such as CIMs and due diligence materials.
• Assist with sourcing opportunities through focused research and screening.

Core Requirements

• Solid understanding of private equity deal processes and investment evaluation.
• Proven skill in financial modeling and structuring analysis.
• Ability to interpret transaction papers and diligence documents.
• Strong written communication skills for turning analysis into clear conclusions.
• Reliable performance in independent, project-based work settings.
