The role sits within a collaborative investment team and offers direct access to senior decision-makers. It is suited to someone aiming to build a long-term private equity career and interested in helping the firm expand through new funds and products.

Key responsibilities

  • Build financial models, perform valuation work, and support transaction execution.
  • Take part in commercial, financial, and operational due diligence.
  • Draft investment memoranda and materials for investment committee review.
  • Assist senior team members with fund strategy and capital raising, including investor research, preparation of fundraising documents, due diligence responses, and engagement with current and prospective investors.
  • Support management teams and help drive value creation initiatives within portfolio companies.
  • Work alongside advisers, lenders, management teams, and business owners during transaction processes.

Candidate profile

  • 1.5 to 6 years of relevant experience from corporate finance at an accounting firm, investment banking, private equity or direct investment, and/or corporate development.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Comfort working with founder- and family-owned businesses.
  • Sound commercial judgement.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-performance team environment.
