Role overview
Pearse Partners is recruiting for a Private Credit Analyst on behalf of a global investment platform. The position sits within a private credit team with a broad mandate across unitranche, second lien, mezzanine, HoldCo financing, and preferred equity. The strategy is generalist in nature, covering multiple industries and transaction types, with an emphasis on structuring-led, risk-adjusted returns in middle-market opportunities.
The role offers involvement across the full deal lifecycle, including underwriting, execution, and portfolio management, while working closely with senior investors in a lean team environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess opportunities across different capital structures and industry sectors.
- Drive diligence processes alongside sponsors, management teams, and external advisers.
- Develop financial models and evaluate value creation drivers, downside scenarios, and capital structure considerations.
- Draft investment committee materials and support formal investment recommendations.
- Form independent views through in-depth fundamental research.
- Assist with transaction execution and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
