Leveraging a global network and extensive expertise, it offers wealth planning, asset management with specific risk strategies, and comprehensive banking products.
Role Summary
The Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) function plays an essential first line of defense by ensuring high standards of service and risk management. The role reports locally in Riyadh and coordinates extensively with front office teams, compliance, legal, anti-financial crime units, and business management both locally and at booking centers, particularly Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire client onboarding process, ensuring timely and high-quality Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and periodic or event-driven reviews of existing clients.
- Collaborate effectively with client-facing teams and stakeholders at both local and booking center levels, providing strategic guidance on documentation, account opening policies, and adherence to KYC/AML regulations.
- Execute thorough due diligence for new and existing clients including natural persons and entities to guarantee compliance with KYC and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive research on clients using public information sources and screen names against sanctions, adverse news, and politically exposed persons lists.
- Gather, verify, and corroborate necessary KYC/AML documents and promptly escalate any risk findings to senior management and compliance or Anti Financial Crime teams.
- Serve as the central liaison for front office and internal departments regarding client onboarding queries and updates until account adoption and review are finalized.
- Prepare detailed account opening packages for business, compliance, and AFC approvals.
- Supervise account maintenance tasks including passport expiry monitoring and document deferral tracking to resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date client databases for the Riyadh branch and related entities.
- Assist business management with regulatory reporting and quarterly client list reconciliations with booking centers.
- Stay informed about operational procedures, services, systems, and applications relevant locally and across booking centers.
- Provide support during regulatory and internal audits as necessary.
- Manage remediation and other projects within assigned deadlines.
- Report any suspicious activities promptly to senior business leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in economics or finance is mandatory; a master’s degree is advantageous.
- Three to ten years of professional experience in client onboarding or client lifecycle management within an international private banking environment.
- Fluent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong communication skills capable of interacting with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and cooperation across various locations.
- Proven ability to solve problems effectively, even under pressure.
