Principal, Strategic Operations

About the Role

This role, based in Saudi Arabia and offered through a partner company, provides a remarkable chance to shape the foundational operations of a rapidly expanding enterprise. The Principal, Strategic Operations will collaborate extensively with executive leaders to architect planning models, improve decision-making protocols, and eliminate organizational barriers. Operating remotely, the position involves working closely with cross-functional groups to foster alignment and clarity amid ambiguity and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine leadership operational systems including planning cadences, decision frameworks, and execution rhythms.
• Manage quarterly and annual planning ensuring alignment of priorities, dependencies, and resources across teams.
• Lead the execution of critical cross-departmental initiatives by enhancing accountability and coordination.
• Create scalable documentation, operational procedures, and tools to streamline team execution.
• Collaborate with executives to pinpoint organizational issues and implement enhancements for decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Break down complex business challenges into clear frameworks, actionable insights, and measurable targets.
• Integrate AI applications into daily operations to boost judgment, efficiency, and decision quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of seven years in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Chief of Staff roles, Management Consulting, or similar leadership positions within high-growth settings.
• A track record of designing and expanding operational systems, planning processes, or execution frameworks in scaling organizations.
• Experience working alongside founders, executives, and senior management on enterprise-wide projects.
• Exemplary written communication skills aimed at distilling complex subjects into clear, actionable frameworks.
• Strong systems thinking and problem-solving capabilities focused on root cause identification and scalable solution design.
• Exceptional judgment and executive presence with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Proven ability to function independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a commitment to excellence.
• Demonstrated expertise and regular use of AI tools to improve business processes and decision-making.
• Familiarity with strategic planning methodologies such as OKRs, annual and quarterly reviews is advantageous.
• Experience with modern productivity and collaboration tools like Notion, Linear, Slack, analytics platforms, and AI assistants is preferred.
