Role Overview
This senior leadership position oversees the strategic direction, planning, and delivery of mobile features and shared UI platform components, aiming to create seamless mobile experiences and a cohesive design system across platforms. The role emphasizes product vision, platform innovation, and collaboration with engineering to drive scalable, quality solutions while integrating AI advancements in product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and steward the mobile product's vision, strategy, and roadmap, converting business objectives into actionable initiatives.
- Guide the evolution of design systems, frontend frameworks, and navigation patterns to maintain a consistent user experience.
- Ensure alignment and synergy between mobile applications and shared product infrastructure for platform uniformity.
- Lead the advancement of shared systems supporting both human-centric teams and AI-augmented development processes.
- Define governance frameworks that empower teams to build on shared infrastructure with speed and excellence.
- Construct compelling business cases for foundational investments, balancing opportunity costs and long-term benefits.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to support decisions about architecture, scalability, and technology prioritization.
- Enhance product management methodologies by introducing clarity and strategic focus for complex, cross-functional projects.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing B2B SaaS products, including over 2 years at a senior leadership level such as Staff or Principal Product Manager.
- Demonstrated success leading mobile product ownership and launches with tangible impacts on user engagement, retention, or business KPIs.
- Background in managing platform, shared systems, design frameworks, or infrastructure-oriented products.
- Strong technical knowledge enabling close collaboration with engineers on system architecture and trade-offs.
- Capacity to formulate strategies addressing complex, ambiguous challenges and drive execution across multiple teams.
- Proven skills in cross-functional leadership and influencing without formal authority.
- Excellent communication abilities to simplify complexity and align stakeholders.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance product prototyping, automation, and development workflows.
- Comfortable working remotely with high ownership and autonomy.
