Safa Community School in Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Islamic A Teacher to join its primary division for the upcoming academic year. What the role involves
- Preparing, planning, and delivering lessons and courses in line with school policy and expectations.
- Creating and marking classwork, then assessing, recording, and reporting student development, progress, and achievement.
- Using assessment information to shape teaching, track progress, and introduce timely support where needed.
- Communicating with parents, including reports and meetings, and attending parents’ evenings and open evenings.
- Maintaining positive behaviour and a well-ordered classroom environment.
- Taking part in team meetings, school events, and collaborative departmental work.
- Contributing to departmental policy, curriculum planning, teaching approaches, and assessment methods.
- Supporting administrative and organisational duties to help the team run smoothly.
- Staying current with curriculum developments and taking part in continuing professional development.
- Working alongside support teachers in the classroom and preparing work for planned absences.
- Taking responsibility for a curriculum area, project, administrative task, or innovation initiative as assigned.
- Following directions from the Head of Department and supporting UAE initiatives and cultural expectations.
- Understanding the DSIB inspection framework and the standards expected for outstanding teaching and learning in the UAE.
