Role Summary

The PPM Operations Planner / Scheduler is a full-time onsite position based in Limerick. This role involves organizing and coordinating preventative and planned maintenance activities for refrigeration, air conditioning, and HVAC services. Daily duties include developing and revising maintenance schedules, assigning tasks to engineers, monitoring job progress, and adapting plans to accommodate urgent requirements. Accurate record-keeping within scheduling and service management platforms is essential, along with ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance. The role requires active communication with engineers, clients, and internal stakeholders to confirm appointments, manage logistics, and provide status updates. Additionally, the planner contributes to operational improvements by analyzing data, detecting patterns, and suggesting enhancements to scheduling and service delivery processes.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in operational planning and coordinating maintenance or service tasks in technical or field service settings.
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate operational data, prioritize assignments, and improve scheduling efficiency while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with engineers, customers, and teams.
  • Experience in disciplined operational environments, such as military or equivalent, is advantageous.
  • Competence in using scheduling software, ERP or service management tools, and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, capable of handling multiple deadlines and tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, refrigeration, or related technical services, as well as background in facilities, engineering, or service operations, is preferred.
  • Relevant academic qualification in operations, business, engineering, logistics, or similar fields, or equivalent practical experience.
