PowerPoint Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a PowerPoint Specialist to work remotely on contract assignments. This role involves designing and executing sophisticated business tasks that reflect real-world scenarios as encountered in top Fortune 500 companies. The specialist will collaborate with an advanced language model (LLM) to produce, evaluate, and refine professional Office Open XML documents, with a focus on PowerPoint presentations (.pptx files).

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement complex business simulations using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, mirroring scenarios from leading global firms.
• Work closely with an LLM to discuss, edit, and generate Office Open XML documents.
• Evaluate and select the better of two LLM-generated outputs for each assigned task, based on quality metrics.
• Develop prompts and tasks that require business insight and substantial time investment to complete without AI.
• Engage in structured conversations involving four turns with the LLM to provide detailed feedback and preferences after each iteration.
• Record insights and propose enhancements to improve the LLM’s capability in handling practical business document tasks.
• Leverage expertise across diverse business areas including reporting, presenting, analysis, and proposal development.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least three years of recent experience managing complex projects within Fortune 500 companies or reputable consultancies.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, with significant experience in Excel and Word, including professional document creation and critique.
• Proven ability to build realistic business scenarios suitable for modeling, reporting, and executive presentation purposes.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with aptitude for delivering clear, actionable feedback.
• Background in fields such as finance, healthcare, consulting, technology, or retail, covering functions like strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or HR.
• Experience working with LLMs or AI-based tools in an iterative and conversational setting is highly beneficial.
• Previous roles such as private equity associate, investment banking analyst, consultant, FP&A analyst, HR professional, or marketing strategist are ideal matches.
