Field of expertise

A strong background in biology is essential. A Master's degree or PhD that is completed or currently underway is preferred, though not strictly mandatory for the broader biology background requirement. Relevant areas of study may include microbiology, cell biology, genetics, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, and environmental science.

What you will do

You will create challenging biology prompts for AI chatbots and assess the accuracy and usefulness of their answers. Your work will focus on identifying strengths and weaknesses in model responses and supporting the refinement of those models.

Working style and advantages

This is a contractor-style opportunity that offers flexibility in selecting projects and deciding when to work. You can complete assignments on your own schedule, using your own computer from home. Pay is hourly, beginning at USD 40+ per hour, and some projects may include bonus pay.

Eligibility and qualifications

Applicants must be based in New Zealand. The role requires excellent English fluency at a native or bilingual level, strong attention to detail, and a solid grasp of cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, and experimental methods. A current, in-progress, or completed PhD is required.

Payment and contract terms

Compensation is processed through PayPal. Currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal when needed. You will never be asked to pay any fee or send money for this role. This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis.
