About the Role
Join a community-focused, locally run store to deliver health, beauty, and convenience services, always prioritizing the customer. This position requires providing fast, excellent customer support at the retail postal outlet while maintaining a clean and organized checkout environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service through positive engagement and a welcoming attitude.
- Keep the checkout area tidy and well-organized.
- Greet every customer warmly and professionally.
- Ensure correct scanning or manual entry of product information.
- Accurately handle cash, coupons, lottery tickets, and PC Optimum transactions.
- Request the customer’s PC Optimum Card during each sale.
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to receipts and product returns.
- Maintain merchandising standards, including facing, labeling, and signing designated areas.
- Follow established loss prevention procedures closely.
- Manage inventory control for cash, lottery tickets, and stamps.
- Uphold the company’s uniform and dress code policies by presenting a professional image.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and store policies and standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and store appearance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to balance working efficiently with team collaboration during customer transactions.
- Strong organizational skills and tidiness.
- Experience with computer systems and cash registers.
- Detail-oriented with good record-keeping capabilities.

Compensation & Hiring Range
The pay range for this role is $17.60 to $20.85 per hour. Compensation is influenced by candidate experience, knowledge, and geographic location. This vacancy is for an existing position.
