Role overview
This part-time, on-site Portfolio Manager position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role is focused on managing a varied set of financial assets, tracking portfolio performance, and applying investment approaches that reflect each client’s goals and risk tolerance.
What you will do
You will review market movements, spot suitable investment opportunities, place trades only within approved limits, and adjust portfolios when needed to keep them aligned with strategy. In addition, you will prepare periodic performance updates, keep portfolio documentation accurate, and help ensure adherence to company procedures and applicable regulations. You will also work closely with internal teams and clients to share clear, evidence-based insights and recommendations.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate should bring strong analytical ability, a sound grasp of finance, and practical experience handling investment portfolios. Comfort with trading activities, portfolio construction, and performance monitoring is important, as is the ability to interpret financial information and make well-informed decisions.
Skills and qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline is preferred. Professional credentials such as CFA or an equivalent certification are considered a plus. The role also calls for advanced Excel capability, quantitative thinking, familiarity with financial modelling and dashboards, strong communication skills, high ethical standards, close attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a busy, on-site setting.
