Discovery Parks on Rottnest Island features 83 luxury eco-tents with various service levels, a resort-style pool, and Pinky’s Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating providing spectacular coastal views. In the Porter role, you will be instrumental in delivering smooth and memorable guest experiences from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport guest luggage between ferry terminals and accommodations
• Provide guest transfers between airport and resort
• Offer exceptional customer service paired with local knowledge
• Assist housekeeping and maintenance teams during peak periods
• Maintain the presentation and upkeep of park grounds and gardens
• Perform general maintenance tasks across park assets and facilities
• Clean and care for communal areas including BBQ zones and amenities
• Support daily operational needs of the park as required
• Ensure adherence to safety, operational, and brand standards

Required Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in porter roles, groundskeeping, maintenance, or hospitality support
• Valid driver’s license with manual transmission proficiency
• Capability to operate powered hand tools and equipment safely
• Physical fitness to manage manual handling duties
• Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills and guest service focus
• Flexibility to work across departments on a 7-day roster
• Knowledge and application of Work Health and Safety and safe manual handling
• Pool maintenance experience is a plus but not mandatory
