Sloomoo is a playful, immersive brand built around joy, slime, tactile experiences, and satisfying sensory moments. It began in October 2019 with a 12,000-square-foot experience in Soho, New York City, featuring handcrafted slime in many textures and scents, ASMR elements, and interactive attractions such as slime slingshots, slime walking, and custom slime design. The concept has grown into multiple Institutes across New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, and Atlanta, along with MiniMoos in Boston and Philadelphia, with additional locations planned. The brand has also been highlighted by major media outlets including People Magazine, Vogue, the Today Show, the Kelly Clarkson Show, the Tamron Hall Show, Forbes, and INC. Its mission is to create joy for everyone, whether they are children or simply young at heart.

Role Overview

The Porter role plays an important part in keeping the Atlanta facility operating smoothly and looking its best. Reporting to the Porter Lead and working closely with the Facilities Supervisor and Managers on Duty, this person supports the upkeep, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of the venue and production spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, hands-on, and able to handle routine cleaning, minor repairs, and general facility support while helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep floors clean and presentable by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed throughout the facility.
• Disinfect frequent-touch surfaces, work areas, mirrors, and windows to maintain hygiene standards.
• Maintain tidy, orderly guest areas as well as back-of-house spaces.
• Clean, restock, and sanitize restrooms during the shift.
• Regularly empty trash and recycling and keep disposal areas orderly.
• Ensure janitorial storage areas remain organized and supplied.
• Handle small maintenance tasks such as changing bulbs, clearing minor drain clogs, and tightening loose fixtures.
• Complete basic painting, touch-ups, patching, and caulking work to preserve walls, benches, and surfaces.
• Support small repair and upkeep projects as assigned.
• Report larger maintenance concerns to the Porter Lead promptly.
• Perform seasonal and outdoor tasks such as leaf clearing and snow removal when needed.
• Maintain exterior areas through litter pickup and general grounds upkeep.
• Assist with simple grounds tasks, such as watering plants when applicable.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance checklists.
• Finish shift tasks fully and submit end-of-shift reports where required.
• Secure the facility at the end of night shifts when scheduled.
• Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and basic powered equipment safely and according to procedure.
• Follow company policies, operational expectations, and any additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of porter experience in hospitality, restaurants, or a similar setting.
• Flexibility is necessary to cover early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
