About the Role

Slurvo is looking for an experienced Podcast Host to spearhead and expand their business and technology podcast distributed across YouTube and various digital platforms. This public-facing strategic position involves comprehensive ownership of the podcast from researching and inviting guests to planning, conducting interviews, production coordination, publishing, and promotional activities. The podcast will showcase founders, entrepreneurs, tech leaders, digital marketers, e-commerce specialists, UX/UI designers, engineers, investors and other notable industry figures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute podcast strategy including editorial planning, theme selection, and format creation aligned with company goals.
• Research and engage suitable guests such as executives and industry professionals ensuring meaningful and insightful conversations.
• Conduct thorough interview preparation by researching guests and crafting insightful questions with fact verification.
• Host professional and engaging long-form discussions maintaining a natural flow and audience interaction.
• Exercise editorial judgment to maintain factual accuracy and professionalism, preventing misinformation.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure high-quality recording, editing, and episode approval.
• Publish and distribute episodes strategically across platforms with SEO optimizations and compelling content descriptions.
• Repurpose content into highlights and promotional clips for social media to maximize reach.
• Monitor podcast metrics such as watch time, retention, engagement, and subscriber growth to inform continuous improvement.
• Represent the company’s brand professionally in all interactions and public appearances.
• Work cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, design, social media, and guest relations teams to ensure alignment and coordination.
• Contribute to initial content planning by defining audience targeting, workflows, and promotional strategies.

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience hosting podcasts, webinars, broadcasting or journalism.
• Fluency in spoken and written English with strong communication and active listening.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth, well-researched interviews and manage guest coordination.
• Experience hosting business or technology-centered discussions.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage schedules effectively.
• Comfortable on camera with a professional presentation style.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Background in business or technology podcasting and exposure to startup ecosystems.
• Knowledge of SaaS, digital marketing, e-commerce, Shopify, and founder interviews.
• Experience with webinar moderation, public speaking, LinkedIn content, and YouTube publishing including SEO and content repurposing.
• Proven ability to work with executives and founders.
