Role overview

An organisation in the technology services space is looking for a contract Business Analyst / Project Coordinator to help drive infrastructure and service-related programmes. The role sits in a regulated setting and centres on application and monitoring system workstreams, project coordination, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the progress of infrastructure and technology services initiatives by keeping milestones, actions, dependencies, and risks under control.
• Work across technical teams, business contacts, service management groups, and external partners to keep delivery moving smoothly.
• Build and update project materials such as meeting records, action registers, plans, process documents, milestone trackers, and progress reports.
• Assist with planning for infrastructure and service management activities, especially within application and monitoring system streams.
• Arrange and run workshops, covering logistics, agenda preparation, note capture, action follow-up, and stakeholder coordination.
• Help with process analysis by recording current-state and future-state workflows where needed.
• Handle detailed administrative and coordination work to support strong project governance and delivery.
• Keep stakeholders informed at all levels so that updates, risks, decisions, and next steps are clear and visible.

Experience and requirements

• You should have at least 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, PMO, or similar project delivery role.
• Prior exposure to infrastructure, technology services, application, or systems management projects is expected.
• Client-facing experience is important, along with confidence in dealing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated environments will be considered a strong advantage.
• You need solid skills in process analysis, documentation, organisation, and communication.
• Proven ability to manage actions, coordinate meetings, monitor deliverables, and support delivery teams is required.
• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Teams, Visio, MS Project, or similar project documentation and tracking platforms is needed.
• You must be able to work on-site in Dublin 1 for 2 to 3 days each week.

Desirable background

• Previous involvement in infrastructure planning, service management planning, or operational readiness work is a plus.
• Exposure to application monitoring, systems administration, IT operations, or technology service delivery would be beneficial.
• Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or an equivalent certification are desirable.
• Strong capability in engaging stakeholders across business, technical, and vendor groups is valued.
• Excellent time management, adaptability, problem-solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are important.
• The ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute effectively in a contract setting is highly desirable.
• Confidence in coordinating multiple moving parts across workshops, meetings, and delivery streams will help you succeed in the role.

Education

A third-level qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related subject is preferred. A formal project management certification would be an added advantage.
