  • Coach and assist network engineers and NOC staff in troubleshooting and proven operational practices.
  • Take part in shift scheduling, task distribution, and operational governance.
  • Oversee enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, NAC, and data center network setups.
  • Lead configuration, rollout, and tuning of network infrastructure.

  • Ensure change management procedures and governance rules are followed.
  • Review and authorize network changes, planned maintenance, and implementation activities.
  • Coordinate maintenance windows to reduce impact on business operations.
  • Support proactive monitoring of network systems through enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Assess availability, utilization, throughput, latency, and capacity trends.
  • Identify repeated issues and introduce lasting corrective measures.
  • Promote automation to improve efficiency and cut down manual work.
  • Work with cybersecurity teams to apply network security policies and controls.
  • Assist with vulnerability remediation and network hardening efforts.
  • Help ensure alignment with internal security standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Participate in investigations of security incidents involving network infrastructure.
  • Keep network diagrams, operating procedures, and technical records accurate and current.
  • Prepare operational reports, incident summaries, and performance dashboards on a regular basis.
  • Create and maintain runbooks and escalation workflows.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver projects.
  • Handle vendor escalations and support contract matters.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, systems, security, and application teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications and experience

  • You should have at least 7 years of experience supporting enterprise network operations and infrastructure.
  • You should also bring a minimum of 2 years in a senior network engineering, team lead, or network operations leadership position.
  • Experience managing mission-critical enterprise network environments and supporting business-critical services is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • CCNP Enterprise certification is compulsory.
